How long does the Roof RX process take?
From scheduling to prescription delivery, the typical timeline is about one week. The drone capture itself takes less than an hour. After capture is complete, annotation and assessment are completed within 7-10 days. You receive the full deliverable – data set, 3D model, Trust Document, and Prescription.
Does Roof RX work with my insurance company?
Roof RX works independently of any insurance carrier. That’s the point – our assessments are unbiased because we don’t work for your carrier. However, the Trust Document and Prescription are designed to be shared with your carrier and producer. Carriers trust Roof RX reports because of our methodology.
What happens after I receive the prescription?
The prescription is yours to act on. If repairs or replacement are recommended, you can use a Roof RX in-network contractor (who follows the prescription exactly) or hire your own contractor using the prescription as a scope guide. If no action is needed, you have documentation confirming your roof’s condition.
Can I choose my own contractor instead of an in-network contractor?
Yes. The Roof RX Prescription is yours regardless of which contractor you choose. In-network contractors follow the prescription to standard and receive post-work validation from Roof RX, but you are never required to use one. The prescription works as a scope guide for any qualified contractor.
