Roof RX’s Eye in the Sky
Drone Roof Inspection
Roof RX’s entire mission is to capture the impartial Truth on the Roof. With our fleet of telecom-grade pilots and 4/3 sensor drones capturing every square inch of every last shingle from every angle in granule-level resolution, that truth is plain to see.
Why it Matters
Our pilots fly multiple angles, capturing every angle of your roof system at just a few feet from the roof surface – because that’s what it takes for our Credentialed human assessors to accurately and impartially see what matters. Unlike competitors offering cheap, automated drone flights and blurry imagery annotated by AI, shot full of false positives, Roof RX trusts the drone to be the tool and the experienced human to be the judge. This is all stitched together into an interactive 3D model to help our assessors, your contractor and you understand the extent of damage and how best to fix it. This all culminates in Roof RX’s signature Full Prescription and Trust Document.

What is In-the-Blind Assessment?
At Roof RX, “In-the-Blind” refers to the fact that when our Credentialed assessors review annotated imagery and make official recommendations on repairs and replacement, they do so with zero knowledge of who ordered the report. Whether it was the property owner, contractor, insurance carrier or agent, the assessors are entirely In-the-Blind – resulting in 100% unbiased, impartial assessment not shaded by any influence.
We maintain complete separation between our capture and assessment teams, with no possibility for conflicting interests or financial incentives in any direction.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much does a drone roof inspection cost?
Roof RX drone inspections are a premium professional service, not a free estimate. Pricing varies based on property size and inspection type. We offer a Base Inspection (drone documentation, Credentialed annotations, 3D model, prescription) and a Summit Inspection with additional measurements and analysis. Contact us for specific pricing.
How long does a drone roof inspection take?
The drone capture itself typically takes 30–60 minutes depending on roof size and complexity. After capture, annotation and assessment are completed. From scheduling to prescription delivery, the typical total timeline is approximately 7-10 days.
Do I need to be home during the drone inspection?
No. Our drone pilots capture images from above your property without needing roof access or interior entry. No one walks on your roof. You do not need to be present during the capture. We’ll coordinate scheduling and confirm completion.
What drones does Roof RX use?
Roof RX uses drones equipped with 4/3 sensor cameras – the same hardware used in telecom infrastructure inspection. Our pilots fly manually within three feet of the roof surface, capturing granule-level resolution that automated systems flying at 10–40 feet simply cannot match.
How is a Roof RX drone inspection different from a traditional roof inspection?
Traditional inspections involve a person walking your roof with a clipboard – causing potential foot traffic damage and relying on subjective visual assessment. Roof RX captures hundreds of high-resolution images stitched into a 3D model, assessed by Credentialed inspectors who don’t know your identity.
Can I use the Roof RX report for insurance purposes?
Yes. The Roof RX Trust Document and Prescription are specifically designed to be defensible documentation for insurance renewals, claims, and disputes. The Credentialed assessment produces a report that carriers trust. You can share it with your producer and carrier with permission controls.
How detailed are the drone inspection images?
Roof RX captures images at granule-level resolution – you can count individual granules on asphalt shingles. Manual flights within three feet of the roof surface using 4/3 sensor cameras produce detail that satellite imagery and automated drone flights at 10–40 feet cannot achieve.
What happens if Roof RX finds damage during the inspection?
Assessment documents all findings – hail damage, wind damage, wear, manufacturer defects, and more. The Roof RX Prescription then recommends specific actions: repair, maintain, monitor, or replace, with priority levels and standards. You decide what to do next with clear, defensible guidance.
Can I see the 3D model of my roof?
Yes. Roof RX provides access to an interactive 3D model of your roof through the DroneDeploy viewer. You can explore the model from any angle, zoom in on specific areas, and see the level of detail captured during the advanced aerial inspection. A link to the viewer is included with your deliverables.
Does Roof RX serve my area?
Roof RX serves the entire continental United States through a nationwide telecom-grade drone pilot network. Focus markets include Oklahoma City, Dallas-Fort Worth, and Tulsa, but captures are available anywhere in the continental US within 72 hours.
